Congratulations, Melanie Cryer, Texas and Region 3 NAWGJ Green Flag Award Recipient!

Congratulations and Thank You!

Melanie Cryer

Texas and Region 3 NAWGJ Green Flag Award Recipient

Texas judges,

Please join me in congratulating Melanie Cryer!

Melanie Cryer has been a judge in Texas since 1997 (25 years). She has also been a large part of the Development Program as a Kindergym Director which produces many of the gymnasts we see compete and succeed today, ensuring the strong future of our sport.

Melanie has been a mentor and a caring mother figure to all of us who have been a part of the NAWGJ judging community here in Texas. When (Jenni Wittenberg) became a new judge, the journey was exciting, and yet at times, also filled with uncertainty. Melanie was an excellent chief judge and/or meet referee who would kindly instruct, guide, and counsel her in times of question. She was always calm and ready with a smile. (Jenni) nominates Melanie Cryer for the Green Flag Award, and she wants others to know of the service and guidance Melanie has brought to so many in our judging community.
