The results are in. Bonnie Crawford will be transitioning to the position of TX SJD on May 15, 2019.

Carol and the wonderful TX  Judges,

Congratulations to Bonnie Crawford on being the new TX SJD for 2019 -2023. Being elected is a sign of your sincerity, sacrifice and success. The countless hours, your professionalism, the dedication to details, the desire to help other, the fairness of decisions made, the willingness to sacrifice time for the betterment of NAWGJ and your state are qualities that have earned you the respect of your peers. Your willingness to help the other judges, coaches, gymnasts is a testimony to your commitment and dedication to this position. I know you will have the support of all the TX judges and coaches. 


Congratulations and I look forward to working  with you Bonnie. 

Many thanks to Carol Williams for the numerous hours spent, the selfless sacrifice of time and family, for all the little details that turn into enormous big things, for every moment spent on being fair, bettering our organization for the good of all, for the advancement and enhancement of our sport, for being conscientious and dedicated, for your professionalism and knowledge, for your friendships... the list could go on. We appreciate all you have done and all you continue to do. Thanks for leaving TX NAWGJ ion such great shape! You are awesomeness.

Activity

March 1

A list of all eligible candidates should be published on the state website or sent to the state membership by the present SJD.
The present SJD sends each eligible candidate a letter, which includes:
1. Letter of Eligibility and Duties of the Office of the State Judging Director.
2. Candidate Application Form to be completed by the candidate stating her/his qualifications.
3. A list of dates for the election and the process to be followed.

*April 1

Candidate Application Form due: Deadline date of April 1. Failure to respond by the deadline date (postmarked) indicates that the candidate does NOT wish to run for the office.

3.

April 15

Voting begins. Any NAWGJ voting member must meet the criteria for eligibility to vote 90 days prior to the date voting begins.

4.

April 30

Voting ends. The Regional Judging Director sends results to the President, Vice President and National Secretary.
The RJD also informs the SJDs in the region for publication in the state website/newsletter as soon as possible.

5.

May 15

The newly elected State Judging Director assumes office.
