Subject: Important Information

Hello Everyone!  I hope you and your teams are ready for your regional meet.  There are a few things that I wanted to clarify before regionals and state get here.

1.      The attached form is the judges pay form with the correct fees listed.  Current mileage is $.535
2.      The vault must be at minimum 120(1200).
3.      The beam height must be at 120(1200), but they can put an 8” landing mat under the beam.
4.      At the State Championships, the beam warm-up will be 2-1, there will not be a group 3 minute warm-up like the rest of the events.  If you would like to do this for your regional meet to prepare for state, that might be a good idea.

Good luck at your Regionals Meets, wishing you success!

Jack,

We seem to be having an issue with High School teams wearing sports bras that show and are not covered by their leotards.  Can you send an email to the judges to please remind them to follow through with the normal protocol for this rule violation?

Warning on first event (write warning on card)
.1 deduction on each following event if they do not change

Thank you Sir,

Subject: High School Optional Rule Reminder

Good morning Gentlemen,

I wanted to see if you could send a reminder to all the judges about the rule changes we DID NOT adopt from the level 8 USAG changes.  I know you put an email out after GAT about the beam compositional change, but I wanted to remind the judges since Optional season is now here.

NO deduction for new compositional level 8 beam; judge using the same guidelines as last year.

Also, we DO NOT want to apply the up to 1. angle of repulsion deduction on non-salto vaults.

If you have questions, please let me know.

Thank you!
